Gavin won this year’s club lawn bowls singles final with a score of 26-22 against Michael Kelly. In the first ten ends Gavin created a considerable lead; however, Michael's determination saw the lead reduce to even going into the last stage of the event.
Gavin and Michael created a great atmosphere with both players producing classy shots and constant changing of the head keeping the score line tight.
Unfortunately, there can only be one winner and that went to Gavin Bransgrove.
Both players went into the match determined to add their name to the clubs honor board.
Well done to both players for their excellent show of bowling skills and gamesmanship.
