Yesterday at Ferntree Gully BC, Greg Blades beat S. Castle (Boronia), T. Mudgway (Glen Waverley) and G. Neilsen (Glen Waverley) in the first three knockout rounds of the RVBA Singles Championship event.

Today Greg went on to beat Ted Tratt from Monbulk in the quarter-final with a scoreline of 25-21. The Upwey-Tecoma combination of Greg Blades, Damien Jones, David Jones and Tom Perry beat C. Creek (Burwood), R. Strong (Camberwell Central) and G. Mitchell (Glen Waverley) in sectional play yesterday at Ferntree Gully.

Today they went on to beat B. Jackett (Burwood) in the semi today at Dandenong Club (28-3), not needing to play the last 3 ends. A MASSIVE result against class opposition.
