New look website

How do you like the new look website? After renovating the front page, it was time to makeover the rest of the site. And what better time to do it than after new club colours were voted in!

FYI, the local Guides and Brownies are homeless for 2 weeks and they will be using our clubrooms at the following times:

• Thursday 21st June, 6.30-8.30pm
• sharing the clubrooms with the monthly committee meeting
• Monday 25th June, 5.45-7pm
• will be packing up just as people are beginning to arrive for the Monday night comp

Special General Meeting Results

The advertised Special General Meeting was held last night.

Motion 1 (changing colours) was carried on a show of hands. This will allow the sub-committee organising the new coloured shirts to provide accurate details regarding design requirements. The club colours are now Black and Gold.

Motion 2 (adding membership categories to the Constitution) was carried unanimously including an amendment from the floor regarding first year bowlers. Bowling members also belonging to another club, student member and first members are now all membership categories within the constitution. The constitution will be updated shortly.

Thanks to those people who attended the meeting ensuring we gained a quorum. On a chilly evening in June, your participation was much appreciated.
